Eventually, perhaps so. ST2 is the technology the workstation modules are based on. So, the engines will be syncronized. Whether the features on the interface are implemented or not depends on the theme of the plug-in. For insance, the "phrase" mode of Stretch doesn't make much sense for SS2 where there are no phrases in it (and it doesn't allow sample import). But, the ability of the new Stretch will be there underneath... eventually.
