Is it possible to import .rx2 files straight into Cubase SX2? Normally I use Recycle to make sure loops are in time, before exporting them as one long audio sample and importing the sample into Cubase.
However at a friends studio, he was able to import the Recycle file straight into Cubase - this was using Cubase VST. I've had a good look on SX2 and I can't see the option to import Recycle files anywhere... does it exist?

Yeah... I didn't mean as an audio file. In my friends VST, he actually imported the .rx2 file (not a rendered audio) and it automatically went into Cubase all neatly sliced and stuff?!

It'll import Rex2 into Cubase SX2 as long as they aren't 24 bit. You'll need an additional file to make it support 24 bit functionality. Sorry, don't normally use rex files, so what you need to upgrade you'll need to dig a bit.

Ooops... sorry, you're right. I didn't realise the option for importing the .rx2 files was in the 'import audio' menu, I was looking for a seperate import feature for .rx2 files.
