Souncard: E-Mu 1212m
Software: Cubase SX3

(all drivers up to date)

i cannot seem to get cubase to "hear" what's coming in through my 2 1/4" inputs in the daughter card. i can hear the sound playing through the speakers and i have called e-mu tech support to make sure all my settings in Patchmix are correct. How do i get Cubase to accept this data? I have followed the instruction carefully in my book about recording audio but it's just not working...Cubase is not registering any input...I have read about a program called "ASIO Direct Sound Full Duplex Setup" but i can't figure out how to open it or even locate it?
You're help is appreciated greatly

In Cubase, check Devices, VST Connections, Inputs. Are any listed?

And your soundcard setup? Normally you can check one input source (e.g. Line, Mic, Wave, What You Hear) to be the one which gets recorded.

You mentioned ASIO. Does your card have ASIO drivers. Have you selected them from Cubase's Device Setup.../VST Multitrack tab in the Devices column?
