Like many of you - I received the special Xmas 2004 Holiday Capsule as part of my SS2 shipment. I finally got around to trying to install it this week and have run into some weird install issues.
When I pop the disc in, the UFO converter fires up prompts me for destination format - so I would like to convert the elements to the Kontakt format and click Next (or the red button or whatever). When I arrive at the screen to select my file locations - the top selection (Program location) is preset to my C:\ Drive and I cannot edit it at all. Stranger still is the desired location for the sounds themselves (I like to isolate all my samples to my S:\ Drive)but the Browse button to select a different location is greyed out. No amount of clicking Next or Back seems to help.
Is this installer screwed up? Has anyone else had issues or success installing this?

I had a bit of confusion when I installed mine also. If I remember correctly I had the same issue where it wouldn't allow me to place the samples where I wanted them. What I finally did was to allow the program to install the samples where it wanted (which involved several layers of sub-folders if I remember corrrectly) and then I moved them where I wanted afterwards. I then deleted the folders the convertor made.
I was going to sampletank format and they remaind on my C: drive so I don't know if this will help you or not.

I can't remember if I had the same issue or not, but I know they eventually ended up where I wanted them. Like Dan said, you can always move the files after they are copied to your hard drive.

I didn't have the same problem. I just installed the sounds in my "KONTAKT" folder.
