Live issues

I was hoping that someone here could help me with some issues that I've been having w/ Live lately...

first of all, I should say that my problems have been consistent in the last 3 versions of the software and my hardware works fine with all of my other host programs

ok...on my laptop, which is a pc whenever I use the m-audio mobile pre as the soundcard, all of Live's audio output, when I first open the program, is distorted and sped up...the way I solve this is by turning off the connection w/ the mobilepre in the audio preferences menu and then turning it back on...everything then works fine until I restart the program.... I don't have this problem when I use the edirol pcr-1 on the same computer and as I stated before the mobilepre works fine w/ other programs including cubase, reason, fruityloops and itunes...

I should also mention that I have a new laptop and I experienced the exact same problem on my old computer....

I also run Live on a mac g5 that is mainly designated for Pro Tools...when I open the program (Live) on that computer it often opens Toast at the same time for no apparent reason and sometimes Live just crashes right after that....

Anyway, if anybody has experienced either of these issues, I sure would appreciate your feedback
