What sort of technical jargon are you referring to ?

Music theory technical jargon ?

Audio technical jargon?

Synthesizer technical jargon (related to but my no means synonymous with the preceding)?

Genre name technical jargon (e.g. “That’s not E.B.M. you idiot. It’s I.D.M.!

”)

Computer technical jargon?

Or perhaps a combination of the above???

Hmmmm.... audio technical jargon. The kind of people who INSIST without remorse that Waves are the best, that analog is the only solution for basslines, that there are procedures to follow for preparing music for an audience... and all that other BULLSHIT!!

These people are f**king arrogant WANKERS and I want the entire world to experience an anal raping simply because these people exist!!!

i counted 37
ok only actually 11 of them knew ALL the jargon but the rest knew a fair amount so i gave them the benefit of the doubt.

I too find these people to be tiresome. Such people remind me of fat guys with basements full of expensive exercise equipment that never seems to magically remove their extra pounds. Sad, really.

The anal raping does seem kinda harsh though...

I used to know no jargon at all. I played in a duo, and when we met, we exchanged ideas through pheromones and the occasional gesture. Sometimes we didn't understand each other. For instance, once my musical partner thought I was making some sort of negative comment on what he was playing, but in reality I was only making a "stinky face" over a particularly groovy (sorry about the jargon) eh... thing I was trying out. That's when I decided to learn some basic jargon (like "groovy"). I've never looked back, really. Can't tell you about the quality of the music I produce, beacause when I try to play for people, they always remember they have some errand to do.
