He'd probably post here...
OMG!LIEK U D00DZ KNEW ANY KEWL BASES I KAN FIND?
I voted the SynthEdit option, but he'd probably end up buying Reaktor and never do any music again; he'd be too busy building

He'd spend 99% of his time dicking around with plugins and demos of VSTi's!!
I wonder if he'd sculpt his own banks or buy Tim C. banks!

Which DAW software allows you to download porn?[absurd] wrote:He would probably download a lot of porn.
Is this one of the features that makes Nuendo so expensive?

He'd probably go shopping online for wigs, and write film soundtracks.

To be honest I have always played with this idea in my mind..that is..if he was alive today..what would he be doing? I am sure he would be playing with all the technolology. He might get how Frank Zappa got and siad 'screw musicians..they can't play my material" he was always getting frustrated with the avialble musicans of his day for not being able to play his material correctly. I think thats why he went to just harpsicord stuff in his last days with the Art of Fugue.
At one point I really got into Bach, even though I am not a classically trained musician. I took the scores of the B minor Mass and Art of Fugue and others and inputed them one note at a time into a yamaha CX5 computer ( back in the 80's) and did the orchestrations myself. Came off quite cool. Even added drums ((oh no..switched on Bach 6 )However you tend to appreciate Bach more when you actually get "into" his music.

I figure he'd probably actually dig something like Sibelius - one of the reasons he had 20 children (most of whom died in or shortly after childbirth) besides being a randy 18th century-ite was so that he could have a free labor force to make lined note paper!
Best regards,
Steve Berson

That puts things in perspective doesn't it?Cellotron wrote: one of the reasons he had 20 children...was so that he could have a free labor force to make lined note paper!
All that music...and he had to make his own staff paper!!!
Listening to old J.S. is the most humbling experience I know of.

"what's the best VST to invent the well-tempered scale?"
