Great price from http://www.ursplugins.com/ $2299 for a bundle, and they use stupid iLok thing. And you can`t even try them without that!

If you own a TDM rig, those prices are in the expected price range...
btw, a single real harware Neve 3-band EQ cost around $3,000...

As a one-time owner of 8 channels of API 550b EQ, I was quite interested.

However (and I may be reading this wrong) it seems I am expected to spend money to buy an iLock dongle to use a demo that I may or may not buy.

Not in this world.

That said, the 550b's absolutely beat the pants off any software EQ I have ever heard.

But they won't ensure a hit record or wonderful music so who needs them at that price?
