Just tried this out - very nice! I needed something that would pan/gate some sound fx coming out of Cameleon, this works a treat! Not too CPU heavy on my machine (P4 2.53Ghz) either.
Thanks for making this!

Acolmiztli: Wow, haha.. That's one sweet dream
- I'm gonna think about it actually. Could be useful for another effect, would be nice to have something scrolling waveforms like that. Need to think some more before I actually try to connect it though, it's one of them things that's likely to give you a good headache
Ziokiller: Very funky! I'm liking this, gonna grab the project file as well. Cause I'm not normally an XT user but I'm actually gonna be reviewing it this month
MickGael: Thanks! Gonna keep improving on it for the next beta.
woolyloach: Thanks! I've got some ideas for CPU optimizations. Gonna see what I can do, with some luck I'll be able to cut it down some more.

Hmm strange, works fine in Cubase however in Energy-XT it does seem to be having some denormalisation problems. Then again that's true for other SE vst's as well it seems. Pan-Oh!-Rama and SubDuer peaks the CPU while my old Twitch doesn't, very odd. Gonna see if I can solve it somehow. With some luck it could work just running low level noise through it.
EDIT: Just tested using Fish Fillets Normaliser and that took care of the problems. Meaning I will add a low level noise generator to Pan-Oh!-Rama beta3 and SubDuer beta6 which should remove the denormalisation errors.

Did some fixing and finetuning and I finally have a beta 3 for you!
New in Beta3:
* Denormalisation errors fixed (energyXT)
* MIDI Trig fixed
* LFO Restart on playback fixed
* Filterbank mixing fixed
* Negative LFO modulation added
* Parameter finetunings
* New presets
So as you can see there are alot of fixes. Filtermixing never worked properly in beta2, neither did MIDI trigging or restarting the LFO's on playback. This has been fixed and I also added a low level noise which takes care of denormalisation errors in energyXT and possibly other hosts as well.
http://www.majken.se/vst/download/panohrama-b3.zip
----------------------------
Here's two new soundexamples:
This is how the MIDI trig should work. The first bar you hear the original sound, then you hear Pan-Oh!-Rama being MIDI trigged with 1/4'th notes, then 1/2'nd and last 1/4 Triplets. Meaning the LFO's are restarted on each trig making them very controllable.

And here's some selfoscillation of a filter for you people that like strange freaky sounds
- It's a slow sawwave FM modulating a fast sinewave on the cutoff with some autopanning.

----------------------------
Hope you like it!

Very nice. Really smooth sounds. Works like a charm in Tracktion. Not so good in Adobe Audition !!
That was beta 2 though...so maybe this will fix it.

Sascha Frank did a lovely filtered pad using Kjaerhus Audio's free plugin Classic Auto-Filter.
I thought I should give it a try with Pan-Oh!-Rama as well:
http://www.majken.se/vst/audio/panohrama-padsync.mp3
Dual 2-pole bandpass filters modulated by smoothed synced random oscillators. I also added a slight Auto-Pan
------------------
I've figured out some stuff for beta 4 already. The osc's are gonna have on/off switches just like the filters to save CPU. Also I'm gonna make the modulation routing completely free which will also make it possible to save some CPU and last but not least I will make a true stereo version.

It doesn't work in Wavelab, but I like this plugin.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Beta 4 is out!
New in Beta 4
* True stereo
* Free modulation routing
* LFO On/Off
* Volume modulation changed
* Parameter Finetunings
Pan-Oh!-Rama now supports true stereo processing. This did add a slight cpu hit, especially when using modulated filters. However thanks to now being able to turn off unused lfo's and modulation routings it's possible to save some cpu which should almost make up for it. When I do the final release I will likely go for both a mono and a stereo version.
I've also changed the volume modulation, in beta 3 the volume would be lowered when modulation was added, this won't happen in beta 4. However the volume modulation behaves differently than the rest, give it a go and you'll see what I mean.
Here's a new audio example made with Beta 4:
