Thanks, I tried the first beta and, given my extremely short attention span, was a little confused how to get up and running. Thisa version is clearer and takes less a cpu hit for me (old Athlon).
Your gui's are so clear and clean, thanks!

There's still one thing that might be confusing though, the gate triggers on the lfo's in the upper left corners. Gonna see if I can make this more logical through the interface. I'm also gonna throw together a manual and some more presets.
I actually think it's pretty much finished by now. Got some cleaning up to do but I dunno if there's anything else that should be added. Or? Anyone got any ideas on neat features?

I'm working on a song that I use 4 Pan-Oh!-Rama's in. If you listen in the beginning you hear a stuttering pad and a panning organ. Not very exciting perhaps but could be fun if you want to hear the plugin in action:

Beta5 is out!
New in Beta5:
* Denormalisation fixed
* Volume modulation improved
* Filter modulation improved
* Effect Mix parameter added
* GUI fixes
* New Presets
http://www.majken.se/vst/index.asp?Page=panohrama.asp
-----------------
Some new stuff's been added. Works alot better now as a tremolo thanks to the improvements on the volume modulation. I also decided to add a Mix knob to go from dry/wet which could be automated to give better control of the effect. For the final release there will also be a slimmed down mono-version for saving some cpu.
Hope you like this one!

I just spent pretty much the entire day making a new site for my VST stuff. It's nothing great, but it's easy to update and pretty easy to view hopefully.

Thanks!glurgle wrote:very nice design
I've just added a small forum as well, or bulletin board rather. Not very interesting to KVR members perhaps but it could always be nice with some feedback from non KVR members to improve on the plugins.

Pan-Oh!-Rama v1.0 Out Now!
New Features:
* CPU usage reduced by 0.1%-0.45% on a P4 2.4Ghz
* Two new Pulse Waveforms
* Stereo & Mono versions
* LFO sync on Program Change
* Detailed users Manual
* 5 New Presets.
This is my first ever v1.0 plugin release and I really hope you all like it. If you ask me Pan-Oh!-Rama is finally streamlined and fintuned enough to be a rather useful little plugin. Then again I'm rather biased
So if you grab it and like it, please tell me so. Also, if you come up with any neat presets, send them to me!

I've submitted the plugin to the database. No idea how long that will take though. So, anyone tried it yet and does it work better than the old versions?
The Mono version should be pretty low on CPU with the new optimizations made. I'm gonna take a look at the connections again and rethink the structure to see if I can make a slightly more optimized version saving a few extra CPU cycles. That'll be for later though, I've already decided what to do next. You'll see pretty soon

f**k yes!
Heh, FM featured Pan-Oh!-Rama in their lil "Top 5 plugins causing a stir in webland". Here's what they had to say:
"This hilariously named plugin (well, we chuckled anyway) is a cool little LFO-driven modulation plug-in that can be used as an autopanner/tremolo/dual filter. In total there are six LFO's using 18 waveshapes, plus six different filtertypes. We've tried it and we love it!"
I especially liked the last part. Seems FM has got a real good taste in plugins, eh?
This means I got all warm, fuzzy and inspired again. So I'll start working on something new this weeked, thanks for all the support everyone!
Also, Yay ziokiller and ixox! Who also had their plugins featured.
