Have been listening to Johnny Cash. How the f**k can you get so much into a song. Ever heard "man in black". Sure its country uber cheese and all but goddamn. Wish I could do so much with a guitar, a shaker and a voice. f**k.

I actually spent the weekend listening to the "oldies" station. Holy crap- the musicianship on most 60s pop songs is incredible. Todays pop songs are laughible by comparison. I can see why pop was such a bad word back then- there were some studio musicians with some serious chops making some great tunes....
