Hi there,

I stepped on my sx3 dongle and it is cracked and obviously not working anymore.Can I get a replacement or I have to buy the software again?

Call steinberg. If you mail in your crushed dongle, I'm sure they'll replace it. Try to be a bit more careful next time...

Steinberg´s policy is quite clear :
damaged or broken dongles will be replaced ASAP.
lost ones that´s another story. That´s why some people
have internal USB hub.
