A spectacular new update of ‘Space Boy’ is available and introduces a number of additional unique features:
  • The 'Wormholes' detection mode - Automatic spectral peak analysis (cross-correlation) for detecting and displaying common dominant frequencies between different tracks.
  • Manual spectral peak analysis (up to 5 cursors with frequency display) in both Tx and Rx mode.
  • 'Deep Space' mode - Overdrive the 'Space Boy' effect up to 200%.
  • Improved/Efficient graphical display.

’Wormholes’ Detection.

This is the first time that 'Wormholes' detection mode is available on any audio plug-in. This unique feature will enable you to identify, in a fully automatic (and real-time) manner, the 4 most common frequencies between two different audio tracks. In addition to the real-time 'Space Boy' effect (which uses knowledge of these frequencies) you can now determine, very quickly, values for adjusting other EQ plug-ins you may have. Just load up your Tx and Rx instances of ‘Space Boy’, run the tracks and click ‘Wormholes’ to see the 4 most common competing frequencies identified and tracked in real-time. Even if you don’t want to use ‘Space Boy’ all the time, this functionality enables you to identify essential settings for your other EQ tools – at the click of a single button. Choose any moment in time and capture or track the frequencies for as long as you like!

To identify frequencies of interest, up to 4 cursors can be placed at any one time. The traveling green cursor displays its frequency in the top box. The placed cursors indicate their frequencies in one of the 4 boxes at the bottom of the window.

’Deep Space’ mode.

From version 2.01, the ‘Space Depth’ can be set beyond 100% up to 200%. This has the effect of overdriving the ‘Space Boy’ effect such that more frequency components will be suppressed and all will be suppressed to a greater extent.

Note: Version 2.01 is supplied as an update ONLY to licensed ‘Space Boy’ users.

If you didn’t yet try 'Space Boy' then a demo (v1.08)can be downloaded via the Elevayta web site or the following link:

Download 'Space Boy' from Share-it!

The download is fully working for 35 days. Full instructions are included (full features are available to registered users only).

'Space Boy' is a windows based VST plug-in that provides the means to analyze, in real-time, the spectrum of one audio source and make a ‘space’ in the spectrum of another (target) audio source. Not only this, but the ever changing relationship between the different EQs of each source is automatically accommodated in real-time. This means that EQ adjustments are made only when needed.

Just got your order.

Now you can work with lower latency/CPU.

Many thanks!

How could I have not tried this plug in before? Will do this week, for sure. It must be really handy, especially for bass and drums that often clash..

An idea for the future would be to make one that compares all tracks in a project ( not just 2 ), and graphically show all the similarities and differences between all the tracks.

Just an idea. I don't even know if it is duable. I will definitely check out the demo of space boy this week.
Play it by ear

Urrr....what planet have you been on?

P.S. I'll think about your other suggestion. Could be rather CPU intensive to do all in one go.

I was just about to buy it when I saw that it still has the old hardware based c/r protection. I hoped you would have changed this since Convo Boy doesn´t use it. :(

Not this time. Up to now, I can say that changing the copy protection scheme in Convo Boy has made no impact on the number of sales. (Statistics do not support the argument for or against).

Those that want, buy irrespective of the copy protection. Those that have had the need to request a new key from me will testify that I provide an excellent service in this respect.

Yup, I can testify. New keys have been delivered in a prompt and friendly manner.

You're right! - Looks like I need to find a better web server.

You can go straight to Share-it! at this address:

You can download a demo and buy from there. You need to try the demo before you buy.
