Just tried the demo of Fl Studio 5, and I have to say I was quite impressed. It has been ages since I gave FL a look (v3 or something), and it has certainly improved.

Get it. You won´t regret it.
Hey Pheelep. Thanks for pointing me to the wusik synth. The demo is absolutely brilliant. I can´t wait to get the full thing (I signed in last night)
Anyway. Back to the point treated here. FL is the best purchase I have made ever!!!! No doubt about it.

Is it true that the boxed XXL version includes everything but does NOT include free upgrades?

Not to mention that you get lifetime free updates if you download from the site.Wicker Man wrote:Sotiris,
Just get the Producer Edition download version...who wants to waste the earth's resources with a box and a CD anyway ?
FL5 is a great purchase. Of course, I didn't have to purchase it. I got mine for free because I purchased FL4 on the site.
Seriously! For less than $200 (Producer Edition), how can you go wrong?

Used Cakewalk Pro Audio 8 & then 9 for years, then bought Cubasis VST 2.0 then 4.0, shortly followed by Logic 5 (for PC). After playing with the FL demo I sold Logic on ebay (great program, just way too cumbersome for my needs). If I could sell the old copies of cubasis I would...Cakewalk 9.0 will stick around on my old 98 machine i guess, but its FL Studio from here on! When I think back on all the money I spent on upgrading that software

Purchased the producer edition at v 3.5 something and have never regreted it. Went XXL when it first came out best $130 I spent on software so far again. Now looking at going XXL again for Sytrus and the video player for $132...
But since I just brought Vanguard and Wusik, waiting for the next 15 people to sign up so I can get it! I don't have the $$$$ right now. Oh well these should keep my software lust satisfied until next Month!!!

I really want Sytrus and i absolutely HATE the idea of sending my credit card details through the 'net.Wicker Man wrote:Sotiris,

Why not buy the boxed XXL version from my trusty local dealer INCLUDING the lifetime upgrade fee?
Is this option so "difficult"?
