----For those of you that use loops from loop cds, what is more important, tempo info, key info, both, neither ?
----And furthermore, what formats are most relevant overall,.wav,.aiff,rex2,etc. ? Do you prefer mixed format cds,or just one format and more content ?

well if you are writing a melodic song, key and tempo are important. However if I use samples at all, they are more atmoshperic or atonal samples that may almost be on key with what I am writing. All I need is wav files myself. Unless it is a instrument sample set...

Since you can change both pitch & tempo nowadays, the info is totally irrellevant I think.

----It does seem like Live & Acid have better "guessing" for tempo when a loop is un-Acidized these days, and both can pitch shift/time stretch pretty well,(those are just the 2 host programs I have used recently enough to comment on). I was just curious what people are really looking for in regards to loop-file information on the loop sample cds they purchase.
----No comments about file format vs. amount of content per loop cd ?
