If I remember right, the reason why they don't include the lifetime upgrade on boxed copies is because of the store's and packager's cut. The boxed version would have to be more expensive to include that.Sotiris wrote:I really want Sytrus and i absolutely HATE the idea of sending my credit card details through the 'net.Wicker Man wrote:Sotiris,
Just get the Producer Edition download version...who wants to waste the earth's resources with a box and a CD anyway ?
Why not buy the boxed XXL version from my trusty local dealer INCLUDING the lifetime upgrade fee?
Is this option so "difficult"?
For what it's worth, recent articles on Wired have shown that the vast majority of identity theft comes from physical information (unshredded trash), social engineering, etc, and not sniffing internet packets. I've bought probably fifty or sixty different software products over the internet, through VShare (who FLS uses), ShareIt, PayPal, RegSoft, Kagi, etc and never had a problem with any of them as far as questionable billing, etc. Likewise for e-shopping through Amazon, BookPool, etc.
It may bother you, but it's probably pretty secure.
