I mean split into manuals, like real hardware synth.
I've found a program fot it, but I can't cope with the setup yet. So what's the most popular way to do it?
Thank you!

I can do splits, but my technique doesn't really go that way. Sometimes I'll split my XP-80 to have a bass timbre from about the F below middle C down. But mostly I put the QS6.1 above, and the piano below, on the quik-lock stand, and to my left I usually have the XP-80. I change the patches on the XP-80 with a footswitch, and the QS pretty much is either organ or else controlling something outboard. The piano is always a piano, or else piano+strings controlling a rompler.LiquidSoul wrote:I mean split into manuals, like real hardware synth.

I don't really care for splits, because there's barely enough range as it is.

ORION Platinum allows you to specify a note range for each instrument so its a no-brainer.

You can use EnergyXT to do key splits and I've even got a tutorial on how to set it up for splits. Just check out the EnergyXT link in my signature.

You're welcome.
The particular project tutorial there is for a keysplit on a multitimbral instrument.
It's actually easy to adapt it so that it splits over mutiple VSTi if you want.
Just cut out the Midi Channel comps and connect each midi patcher to a different VSTi.
Let me know if you need any more info.
