It says 2 weeks in the installer,but again,this synth is at least 2 years old already if not older.I notice it has the same exact patches as well.I still have the old installer from way back.Oh well.I guess it's beta abandonware.

A very promising piece of software, but it's been in this stage for centurys

I contacted once SpeedSoft for a release date and it was set to some time like the end of ... 2003. This 'COming soon' status lasts since... ever? And until... ever?

Yeah - downloaded this an aeon ago.
I think at the time it was an extension of the FM synth engine they had in VSampler (not sure).

But I think they decided to concentrate on VSampler instead and it kinda faded into the background.

WARNING

The uninstall for this VSTi will delete EVERYTHING in the folder you install it to.

That's ok for those who did the sensible thing and put it in a folder all on it's own.

I, unfortunately, installed it in a folder that had Cameleon, Wusikstation, Phantom , EVE and Ravity(S)

I am super pissed-off that I'm going to have to reinstall all of these

or maybe.........

can anyone tell me how to recover from this????

I'm om Windows XP Pro SP2.

I do very well know why I'm setting a system restore point before installing anything .exe-based.
But I'm setting up separate folders for just about everything too.

the default installpath is c:\speedsoft
you only have to install once into THIS folder.

then copy the needed .dat and .dll (dxi, vsti, cakew.)
together with the file "default.vx7" and the folder "banks"
into your vst-folder.

save the complete c:\speedsoft\vx7 - folder
for later installs.

to recover your deleted folder please
