Hey...
how could i use my keypad (those numbers right next to up/down/left/right arrows on keyboard) to trigger a sample playback? is there any vst/dx/standalone sampler that can do this?
thanx

Maybe with Trollo (it says its configurable) and use it in conjunction with someting like SFZ in TobyBears MiniHost.
Now I've mentioned MiniHost, there also is a Midi Control Center at www.tobybear.de which can generate note on/off messages from the keyboard.

MiniHost by Tobybear is a rather "minimalistic" host. If all you want to do is trigger samples, then using Minihost is a bit more efficient (not that big)Duke4e wrote:what is "SFZ" in TobyBears MiniHost?

SFZ is a free sample player. It is one of the most popular soundfont players, but can play many formats.

You're right, any sampler would do. FL has its own, but MiniHost obviously not.
