Are people working on this audio problem? It may only be trilogy and atmosphere, but others mentioned similar UVI products, so that's why I titled it so.
It's been a while since we have heard anything on this.
Thanks

I just had a proble with that last night. I rendered a song which is one of my best ones, and the bass line was done with Atmosphere, and now its delayed. I wonder is just moving the track back a few ms once in wav format, would get it back to normal.

Post

to fix your song
export 2 copies of your song
1) a copy with every channel EXCEPT atmosphere
2) a copy with ONLY atmosphere

then open a new copy of FLS
import the 2 copies as 2 wav files
and slide them until they line up
that should be the easiest workaround

as far as the main problem
try to increase your LATENCY setting just for the audio export.....you can set it lower again when you're working on a track...this should fix the delay problem...i thinks........g'luck

This is gone on for a while now, and we would really like an answer. Surely it can't be that hard for each side to check this out.

I don't remember, but have you asked this on FL forums? I figure you probably have (and I've been absent from FL recently) but you'll probably get a quicker answer, especially if you can post a flp. :D

The last I saw @ FL forum, Gol was waiting for a reply from Spectrasonics (?) Couldn't do much without co-operation from their end.......doubt they'll bother now after all this time.
I'm only using FLS (until T2 appears) and as things stand, Atmosphere is practically useless to me.....a waste of money (lot's of it as well :x )

I'm going to here shortly. I have to remake the audio clips to show what's happening, write out everything I have tried 1st etc.
I do want to note though, it seems 'weird' gol is waiting on a reply from spectrasonics on this, when the only update they have done to trilogy and atmosphere, was 1.2 with the lfo sync. My point is, trilogy/atmosphere work just fine in 4.12, so if they haven't changed but that one time, I would suspect 4.5 and on something changed to cause this problem.
Also I didn't even update to 1.2 on either until I got my copy of XP, because it would NOT update with 98se...I tried lol. So for the longest time I was only using 4.12 since this version worked like it should, and only using 1.0 on both. I even made a trilogy demo that's up at spectrasonics, and the bass notes aren't stuttering/missing 'spots'

Ok I am wondering maybe if this is what's causing the problem:

In plug sound free, when you hit the play button/space bar the vol knob changes, as well as the release on the filter env. It drops to almost 0.

Why is this happening?

Could this what is causing the UVI problems with bounce down? My thought is maybe since the cc's are being affected, when the track goes to bounce down, studio isn't reading the data correctly.

In trilogy/atmosphere the release also drops.
The even weirder thing is RMX works fine :?

IIRC, RMX doesn't use the UVI, and Spectrasonics said they were moving away from the UVI in new products (probably why they hired Glenn O - or one reason, anyway).

I understand that some of the issues in the UVI were resolved (tempo-synced LFO's, etc) but my confidence in UVI-based products (Mach 5, Atmosphere, Plugsound, Charlie, etc) in FLS is not high.

Well then that may make sense why RMX works correctly.
So it's looking like UVI, but I can't help but wonder why do those plug-ins work properly in 4.12?

Weird...

Also from a common sense "sight", I guess it would have to be UVI, since I have almost every plug-in, and everything else works like clock work.

uhm. i wonder if you could use those trilogy, atmosphere and the like instruments loaded in energyxt within fl studio. does that work?

Post

as was already mention ad nauseum, you can wrap them in DX wrappers, which is what i do, but it is a bit annoying...

Have you checked FL Tech Support forum recently? At long last, Spectrasonics have given Imageline copies of their stuff, so mabye a solution won't be far away :D
