This isn't exactly the equivalent, but Endorphin by Digitalfishphones is a nice free multiband compressor with a warming algorithm.

Dunno if it'd do what you want it to do, but there's the SilverSpike Ruby Tube....!

i´d say endorphine is the closest freebie, but still vintage warmer is beyond compare. but endorphin has got a nice "colour", too.

I second camelphat free if you're using it for oversquishing drums. It saturates in a similar way.

Blockfish has a nice saturation in the output.

SUPER plugin....

A while back, Sahul from Elogoxa came up with a preset for Endorphin that closely mimics the 'Track Tape' presets in Vintage Warmer. The parameters are as follows:
Endorphin Track Tape Sim
Input: 0.0
Output: 4.0
De-comp/sat: 30/soft
Processing: Stereo
Opto/VCA: VCA
Attack: 7.2
Release: 90.2
Comp Low: 60
Comp High: 60
Mix Low: On/1.8
Mix High: On/1.8
Give it a try!
