Hey all,

I downloaded a demo of vaz modular. I built a simple granular synth. Loaded a sample and tweaked it's start position. The resulting sound was a wicked twisting, stuttering thing of beauty.

Are there any vst/vsti's where I might be able to achieve the same effect?

I presume you mean a cheaper VST/VSTi as VAZ Modular runs as both those...

sfz. In sfz format, you can automate the offset parameter.

Ableton Live has such a feature. It's called "sample offset".
