i tend to agree : endorpin is nice, but eloxoga's baxxpander is really efficient (nice warming analogue effect, quite clear and efficient)

The only thing lazier would be asking for a preset for SimpleSqueeze

I tried all the aforementioned alternatives before getting VW.
VW is more than just warming.
There are all sorts of warming characteristics that can be dialled in, and you'd be surprised how many different kinds of "warm" there are.
Then there's the limiter side of it, which can take the piss out of 2 slider limiter maximisers and their intelligent algorithms.
VW has something like a dozen knobs to fool around with ... a bit of knee brings a mix right up scary close to your ear, or, a bit of low end gain can selectably bring solid kick/bass up, or a bit of drive will thicken it all up, and so on.
The whole VW thing is a fascination.
Regular 2 slider limiting or 2 knob warmifying seems uninteresting by comparison.
I mostly use VW after the comp across the mix/submix to energise the whole thing, or as a tape warmer at the end of the mastering chain, and to maybe sneak a couple of extra dbs
