SX2 Freezing and Automation

I have just found out to my cost that Cubase SX2.2 mixer automation gets completely and utterly corrupted after freezing VSTi's. It does not happen straight away. It happens to you AFTER YOU HAVE SAVED IT.
All the automation channels get put in the wrong places.

Please watch for this. Bouncing your VSTi's straight to a WAV file using Mixdown is the only solution.
Ignore freeze.

I would be interested if SX3 has this problem.
