Cubase and Fruity Loops Problem!!! PLS HELP!

I'm going crazy, I have been trying to use FL as a VST with Cubase SX as a host, with no problems except one...when I set FL as the output VST destination in Cubase, anytime I record anything and playback, there is three beat metronome precount that triggers off during the first bar of ANY track and there are no settings specified in either program (FL or Cubase) for that to happen.

Both have no precounts or metronomes active, so why is this happening? I have tried different combinations of Cubase versions SX & SX2 with FL 3.56 and 4.51 and the problem still exists. These ticks or clicks are messing up my tracks, because the audio export is capture those clicks too...

Any advise is welcome, thank you in advance...
