Sonar Drum Map Help

i currently have cubase and i wanted to move to sonar 4. is there drum maps similar to cubase, please explain to me how u open the drum map. what i do is i make a drum map i start playin the keyboard, but i like doing my drums in an editor straight up for precisness, the only way i can edit drums with the drum map is with the piano roll which is not a drum map, explain to me how u open the drum map if there is a drum map which im pretty sure there is.

Yes, Sonar has drum maps.
I don't know whether they've changed it in 3 or 4 (I'm still using 2.2 XL myself), but in my version, you click on the MIDI track's output. One of the dropdown options is to create a new drum map, and another is the drum map manager.
DR-008 will automatically create a drum map when you load a kit into it, and it'll appear in the piano roll automatically.
