Step Sequencer-style Panner Plug-in?

Has anyone seen or heard of a step sequencer-style panner plug-in? I'm thinking something along the lines of the Matrix sequencer in Reason attached to a stereo panner. Something like this would be really handy for me so as to not have to fiddle with automation curves in Cubase on a per-sixteenth note basis. I'd make one if I were so inclined, but I can barely figure out how to build synths in Reaktor...

This isn't really what you're asking for, but it might work:

By trigging the lfo's with midi you can restart them and by setting them to waveforms such as squarewaves you can get a pretty controllable modulation and by smoothing it out some it gets pretty nice. You could always give it a go, could be interesting anyway.

I found it! Frank Deinzer Software makes Frank's MIDI Plug-ins which includes Rhythmic Controller, a step sequencer for controller events and can be used to automate pan, volume, filter cut-off, resonance and many more. Yeah! Just thought I'd share in case anyone else is looking for something like this.
