I want to focus on making music using a basic rock band with guitars, keyboard, bass and drums. I will play the guitars, bass and some of the keyboard otherwise using midi loops etc. BFD for drums.
What plug-ins will be the easiest to use for quick and great results?
Just installed a UAD-1 and find that LA-2A plus Pultec gets me there as far as my voice is concerned. Haven't decided on reverb yet, though. But what else can I get that will work as easy as this? From mixing to mastering? Perhaps using presets with only small changes.
Don't tell me to invest a lot of time getting the skills or have someone else do it. That is not my question. I am asking for a quick and easy way to perhaps get 80-90% of what a clever guy can do, not perfection.

Well, jumping straight to the mastering stage. Get Endorphin, and use the 'loud and punchy' preset. Can't get any simpler than that

Betabugs SimpleSqueeze is great for drums and to give something that extra punch and it only has 1 dial, couldn't get any easier then that
