Cubase SX3 and Incompatibility with 24-bit REX2 files

I just bought the latest volume of Drums on Demand in 24-bit REX2 format. However, I saw Cubase SX3 would not input these new REX2 files, not recognizing them. On advice of the Drums on Demand web site, I downloaded the latest REX Shared Library files from the Propellerheads site. I took out the old REX Shared Library, put in the new one, rebooted my Mac G5 (running OS10.3. and fired up SX3.

SX3 will still NOT import the 24-bit REX2 files.

Weirdly enough, I still have SX2 and it imports these files with no problems. But I have moved on to SX3 since it came out and do not wish to go backwards for my future projects.

Has anybody run across this problem with importing the new REX2 files and found a solution?
