this is old shit in case you were lucky enuff to miss it, real sorry about the "he's jsut posting old crap" thing

was worknig with some talented high school rappers (the elements) who happened to know the kids that lived across the street (funny that, they shot up my door one morning) so, founded on a firm anti-music principle of disrupting expected norms, i found myself with a group of vocalists who were fairly unpracticed and were happy to not give a f**k about it beyond their desire to be recordists..

so i'm like.. oh yeah, this has got to go on tape.. to date it remains one of my favourite projects cus imo captures for me the perceptible, raw indifference of youth to authority, in various forms..

just got logic 4.0 on a 299mHz.. not fast enough to sequence 16ths at 70 bpm reliably.. so h/w and loads of logic mod delay :D

so again, proud to present highlights of ogb, the original gang bang

http://www.xoxos.net/ogb/ogb-smoke.mp3 ('the single')

http://www.xoxos.net/ogb/ogb-droppinbombs.mp3 ('the club jam')

http://www.xoxos.net/ogb/ogb-thisistheeastside.mp3 (the 'no one wants to record vox wearing phones' jam)

http://www.xoxos.net/ogb/ogb-noheadlight.mp3 ('the party jam')

http://www.xoxos.net/ogb/ogb-tucsonaz.mp3 (another track)

http://www.xoxos.net/ogb/ogb-track3.mp3 (my collage)

http://www.xoxos.net/ogb/ogb-justtosmoke.mp3 (potheads con delay)

east side, y'all  :hihi: f**k the tpd tho, we're just smoking blunts and getting an athsma attack

Some more cool stuff.

Droppin bombs had me laughing.

Tucson AZ seemed the most blunted. Home town pride showing?

Smoke really is top notch.

Cheers,
Steve

tut tut, and when the radio has gone to all that trouble to select top candidates for "same old players repeated hourly" for you ;)

Listened to them all in a row; a different calibre then the double og where 'justtosmoke' brought me to another planet and 'dropping bombs' was my fave.
Truth be told that I'd earlier pull up the double og tracks for a repeat listen.

"same old players on the hourly radio"
heh; working in a factory again with the radio playing makes me yearn to be home and drown in either café tracks or some CD's. About the only track that's cool is Galvanize, although hearing that one repeated gets to become a bit too much too.

i had a foundry manager like that.. same three metallica albums, everyday..

had a friend who carved bones, said he had a nice shaped skull, and his g/f, when questioned about the attraction, said his penis was 'wickedly curved.'

since i'd prefer not to be valued solely for my physical traits, think i'll be sticking to this diversity thing...
