you wanna use this "texture"as you call it for anything then feel free.
as you said the real fun side of drones is making them and making them from unexpected sources.
its then when you sit back and absorb it you hear the nuances of the initial sounds playing with the fx.to be honest i think i may have gone a little far on the processing here and reduced the subtleties,but in retrospect it needed doing in my mind at the time so its right

Glad everyone likes the remix, it was pretty entertaining to do, jsut a couple of spliffs and some drums and fx and a speech synthesiser
