If you are talking about a VST effect, you have to go to the mixer to add it to the audio output of the VSTi.
I don't find insert slots on the audio output.
Maybe that's the way SE is...

seems very good, i hope its like how it is and not to good to be true. i dont really even use vst at all, im not into them cuz they crash nd slow down alot so i just rewire nd keep it with 2 programs. i just want a steady program, im thiknin bout either gettin it online which i probly will or get it in store. online i found sl3 for 220 and i found se2 for 70. 70 seems like an awesome price if it got a lot of the features sx has

1 more question, i saw something about logical editor, is that the editor that opens up when u double click it, cuz it says that it dosent have that, for ex: when u double click a vocal will it open an editor window where you can edit and master the vocal??? i also saw it dosent have apool but i can deal with that. so what exactly is the logical editor that it dosent have

it has a pool. You can't import/export directly from it, but once you import file into a track, it's in the pool.
yes, you can click on a track and open it up in an editor window. It does everything that you state you need done in your initial post.

ok, just wanted to say that I found the insert slots for VSTi's. No more retardation on that point from me...

i just switched the order to cubase sl 2.2, there was a blowout sale, nd the se had delayed shipping, i cant be dissapointed tho lol, thanks again
