There are now Kontakt files available for the Russian Zither and the Thai Mouth Organ:

Your site is becoming one of my favs also. You have instruments that nobody else has, and in great quality and detail. If you only knew how long it's been that I've been searching for good celtic whistles and stuff. You've helped here. Thanks!

Oh, and what's next?

It's hard to find the next instrument to sample...I have a lot of instruments lying around. I guess you'll have to wait and see

Herman - I notice that you have a PayPal donate button.

I presume this means you're set up and all cool for receiving donations for these sounds?

I'm interested because you've not only chosen a really interesting group of instruments to sample but have also taken the time to sample more than just some sustain notes of the instruments. This kind of thing should be encouraged I think.

Caleb - Yes. You can donate for the sounds. I'll use the money to get new musical instruments and microphones.

I always try to add something. I just had an old viola bow lying around, and I figured I could get all kinds of noises out of the Russian Zither when bowing it.

Wow man these are professional sounding, they sound great!
it's always nice to have more ethnic sounding samples, hard to find sounds even^_* I am writing a japnaese song using your Zither and that Flute Tarka and the frame drum. Unfortunately I am also doing tons of other music too,(orchestra, ambiant, jpop) but when I finish the Japanese song I'll maybe set you up! I'll Book Mark page too.

Is it possible to have these samples working in Logic's EXS24?

Post

It should work. Some have had problems importing the files though. I've never really used EXS (seen it only once), so I can't go into detail on that.
