Any ideas on how to fix this? There are several sounds that just crash it. I re-installed the .dll file.I don't know if it's fl5 or what. Anyone else have this problem?

I have fl 5 and use st2 all the time. Did you download the updated sounds from the IK Multimedia site? You have to log in to your account.. some sounds did crash sampletank 2, and most if not all have been fixed. It's only a hand full of the sounds that crashed St2..

Yes I did that. I had a bad crash a while back from installing drivers wrong, and I did a system restore and re-installed drivers , but it seems this is a result of the problem. Any ideas? I hate doing clean OS installs.

I have no idea, sorry. All I can tell you is that use Sampletank 2 in Fl Studio on a daily basis and no crashes here. Have you tried many of the patches and most crash? or is it a handful of patches?

There's still one or two patches that crash ST2 - I never remember which ones they are, and it's only a couple of them (most of them have been addressed so far). It's not a problem with FL or anything, it's just those samples.

Yeah, anytime I load one that crashes FL, I move it to a "sampletank problem sounds" folder so that I don't risk crashing FL again in the future.. but ya, it's a sampletank problem, not FL. And really, it's like 1 out of 400 sounds that crash.. no biggie.. will be a sound fix soon ..

It's a lot of sounds that crash it, do you think that re installing ST and all the sounds might help?

go to the sampletank website and login and make sure you download both of the 2 sound fix update packages, and the latest version of sampletank 2.0.8.1

then reinstall that new version of st2 and get the sounds updated and it should help out. theres stil a couple that will crash it but really only a couple, it shouldn't be that much of a problem.

Hey Smart, wasn't there just one sound update? I just went to the user area on ik, and only found one sound update..

yeah, you're right there's only one, but I could haven't sworn I did it twice - maybe the update got updated?

I had this happen, then I got the updated sounds.
All is well on my end. Also I am using sonik synth 2 also, and no problems.

Sampletank 2 is crashing in FL5 Help pls.
