Batch files for creating multi-in/-out EXT Plugins

leaning on an early batch file from NicFit i made a few scripts to make the creation of multi-in/-out plugins easier .

there are four .bat files in the ZIP.
put them in your ext directory (with the energyxt.dll) and simply dbl-click the one(s) you are planning to use .

• multi-in.bat
  
  creates plugins with 2,3,4 and 8 stereo-ins in a new subfolder named "multi-in" .
  
  
• multi-in-out.bat
  
  creates plugins with each 2,3,4 and 8 stereo-ins and -outs in a new subfolder named "multi-in-out" .
  
  
• multi-out.bat
  
  creates plugins with 2,3,4 and 8 stereo-outs in a new subfolder named "multi-out" .
  
  
• multi-all.bat
  
  runs all the above mentioned scripts one after the other in one step (if you are lazy).
  the above bat files need to be in the same directory as this one.

the according ini files are created and copied automatically to the system root folder and
the keyfile to each related directory so everything's taken care of .
the created plugins are instantly ready to use .

very nice! ...I which there was some way to change the internel plugin ID ....so we could use multiple I/O configurations of different types in hosts which don't allow duplicate IDs... does anyone know a way?

i don't know myself , but i suppose this would have to be done at compile time and so it's not available yet to a user .
if i'm not far off you still could give plugins a different id with such an .ini method though , but this would take jorgen the efforts to include such a "hook" .

if this finds it's way into ext though (what would be really appreciated) it would be a pleasure for me to change the bat files to include the new entries .

those plugins are especially for use in hosts which don't support the i/o-change method that energy xt plugins use to add/remove in- and outputs internally and mainly just caused to crash them (actually i personally don't know ANY host which does support this method other than ext standalone ( or the ext plugins for that matter )) , so it is generally recommended to use these multi-i/o plugins instead of using ext's internal way of adding/removing ports , unless you use ext .

otherwise you can also just use them as quick templates in ext .
