I just recieved my SS2 and was wondering if the SS1 sounds may be removed from my PC. Are they also included in the SS2 collection ?

Some but not all of the SS1 sounds are also in SS2. I'm not sure of the exact percentage, but generally most of the better sounds from SS1 were carried over into SS2. Speaking for myself, I haven't missed any of the ones that weren't.
