Does fruity supports multitimbral instruments or i'm doing something wrong? I check the on-line manual but
i didn't find anything although i'm sure that it does
supports multitimbral instruments.
If i'm going to buy FL i really do need to know this...
:help: :help: :help:
although i think i'm going to buy it anyway...
 :hihi:

it does - if u look in the plugin windows top left corner - there's little arrow down "Extra Options"
where u can choose multiple outs

hope this helps

Post

Sure does. Made a short piece with GPO last night and it certainly is a multi-timbral instrument. I'm going to make a tutorial for it, maybe I'll post a link so you can see.

It handles multi-timbral VSTs very well indeed.

imo, only eXT beats it for multi-timbral ease of use.

But I regularly have, say, sfz with 15 tracks (via MIDI Out tracks) which link to 16 different channels (only 15 needed, as first channel is sfz (or GPO, EWQLSO, Kontakt, etc.) itself, of course.

Post

Yeah, use MIDI out channels. Set the Out port to the same number as the In port in the VSTi wrapper.

Here's that tutorial...

It's kind of large because of all the screenshots. 8)

I use vsampler3, same thing but it has 16 outs. I put my in mixer slot 16, that way all of bank "B" is mixer tracks for vsampler's outs...

edit: vsampler also has a master so I have to drop fader 16 all the way down.

Oh, yeah! Thanks again hink. After you showed me the way, it was all good for me and FL Studio. My outlook has changed dramatically about it.

So, I owe my new tutorial to you. :)

Post

Yes and as someone pointed out, it handles multi's very well.
load each midi out, set the ports the same, play each channel.
it's perfect.

Really thanks from aliou

I use edirol orchestral from a friend
(he now uses garritan).
I don't feel exactly like ...motzart but i like
sounds that are easily recognisable like the classical instruments although modern music is what i like most.
I really need to say thanks...again

what's about plugins like absynth, intakt...?

is there a possibility to use more instruments at the same time with them? they don't have multiple outputs.
do i have to clone them or is there another way?

Post

Yes, that's what the midi outs are for. Read the tutorial that I posted a link to. It should work the same way for any multi-timbral instrument (a VSTi capable of loading multiple instruments in different channels.)
