Which would that be?

On a similar note, I can't remember exactly, but there was an announcement or a thread several months ago about a chorus designed (specifically) for vocals, but I can't find it anywhere... Anybody know what I'm talking about?
This may be misleading, but, if my memory serves, there was even a screenshot of the effect, it had an orange UI... :?

Thanks in advance

No idea about the 'vocal-specific' chorus, but try a variety of them. I like the Kjaerhus one partially because I always just think to turn to them for "bread and butter" effects.

BetabugsAudio just released MonstaChorus which has a nice analog sound-- no presets (intentionally), but with only 3 parameters to worry about, you should be able to dial up a nice vocal chorus in seconds.

I've had good success with supaphaser on vocals (I know, not chorus, but you can coax some chorus-like effects out of it). It has a hard edge to it, that I like. But of course it may not suit you...

And I plan on giving betabugs new chorus a go, once I set my new G5 up ( :hyper: ).

chorus from voxengo's analogflux suite is sweet.

voxengo chorus fron analogflux, without any doubt whatsoever

You know, when it comes to a plugin chorus for vox, I have always found the old Power Technology DSP-FX chorus really nice.

I normally reach for this one when I'm working on native systems. Still my most used software chorus to date.

I use XOXOS' "Choral" a lot. I also really like the new MONSTAchorus by BetaBugs. Clone Ensemble is magnficent but it's unfortunately not free. :D

I like this ukmChorus2 (Freeware):

I will echo the recommendations for Voxengo AFChorus. On high quality and Vintage settings, it really fattens up vocals in a way most other software choruses can't.

use clonensemble for it
believe it or not but mda detune sometimes does work magic on vocals to .. just dont use it to fat

Howdy.

This is a little OT, but just how exactly do you get it to work? None of the controls do anything! I've tested it in Tracktion, Aodix, Multitrack Studio, N-Track Studio, Audacity, and a few others. WinXP on an AthlonXP, if that makes a diff.
Wait... loot _then_ burn? D'oh!

Voxengo chorus is by far the best I've heard for vocals and other delicate 'instruments'.

Cheers!

Ditto. It is very good. The Kjaerhus classic, too.
