Given Meridian's current sales rate, I'd do 50 @ 7.50 in a hot second.ouroboros wrote:Now you're screwed;Borogove wrote: Now wondering if I shouldn't have started Meridian at US$150 and group-buy it down to $35...
Meridian group buy:
10 @ $15.00
50 @ $ 7.50
75 @ $ 2.50
The Group Buy Phenomenon

I
LOVE
this group buy storm!!! That camel audio one back whenever just kicked off everything.....I don't think it's a good idea on every product....and i do think they should slow it down a bit to compete better....but it's a great idea in essence....especially for dev's.....get's alot of people that otherwise would'nt be using there stuff to become loyal customers......they can ring in some fat cash too....camel audio must've made at least 40 grand of that cameleon5000 group buy.
hmm....what would i like to see in a group buy....native instruemts stuff would be nice...i don't see it happening though....a GB on any of the Virsyn instruments would be pretty nice. ; )
peace!

Maybe a weekly auction is the key. People can mail me bids for a copy of Meridian, every week I give the high bidder for the week their copy.androidlove wrote:I'm in on the Meridian GB.
Or vary the price based on my rage levels. Every time I read a j&h post I raise the price a dollar.

Sorry to hear sales aren't well tiny god. I bought your Heartburn Vsti a little while back though...I love it...that first bass preset gives me goosebumbs....and you can do all kinds of wierd things with those wierd-ass formant filters.Borogove wrote:Maybe a weekly auction is the key. I have to say though, i downloaded meridian and gave it run today (the mono version) and have to say I wasn't persuaded right away...not by the presets at least.....I'm not ruling it out yet, as i haven't had the chance to fully play around with the controls myself...but i think the example version could use a knockout bank...that would sell it maybe. just a suggestion...don't take offense.
peace!

I don't understand this...
for what it does the price is really low...
- maybe you should double it...

I'm gonna do a small bank for it... - if you'd join we could make this 'knockout-bank'TotcProductions wrote:
