I just picked up a tc m300 with 24 bit i/o, its very pretty & i think for vocals it might be my new friend (ducks from flying beer bottles)
Yeah, hardware!! Sometimes I hook up my ART DMV-Pro unit, my flexible friend.

Features Chamber, Room, Hall & Plate reverbs. Each has several classes: instrument, Concert, Gated, Ambient & Dynamic. So thats 4x5 = 20 different reverbs to start with. Then come the parameters, typically predelay, size, decay, depth, diffusion, shape & motion. Oh, and high/low cut/boost EQ ofcourse.

Either its 4 mono processors, or 2 stereo processors or one big multi-effect. Preferred its reverbs to the affordable Lexicon models, and can do much much more! Delay, pitch, chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, panning, lesley...

Davies Hall is awesome!

I use Dreamverb, P100 Plate verb, EMT 140 Plate, and SIR.

:dog: - I sometimes confuse it... - when I did the practical-test for my driving-license it happened to me: 'I said 'right' ' said the tester, 'oops sorry - I confuse it sometimes', I answered. 'Then I will say 'left' when I mean right and 'right' when I mean left from now on!' - 'Sorry, but that won't work as I confuse it just sometimes and I haven't yet managed to work out a system when exactly I do it!'

:help:

Anyone here uses UAD? The EMT Plate is now my main reverb. Definately doesn't suit all purposes, but when it does, it can really do magic.
My second reverb is still my outbard Lexicon Alex, I guess. Mostly used for smaller rooms (guitar room).

I really like sir 1008 and its ability to use convoluted reverb impulses. It makes it seem so scientific...
But in a fun way.

Jens are you right handed? Write something in front of someone and ask them if you are right handed.

If so, then always remember your writing hand is your right side.

Then grab a knife in that hand turn out the lights and go Freaky Jason in the dark.

If you're the little dude here this is you waving your right finger :uhuhuh:

hello

I wanted to give my concern about some synthedit synths lately.. I suppose this should be in the SE area.. but since this is about reverbs I thought it would fit better here.

To be honest I tend to turn in the opposite direction when I see the words 'Synthedit" tied to a vsti.. even free ones. Not that I consider them bad products, just that most (if not all) that I've tried have had that same characteristic SE sound.. I like variety. One of the main reasons for this is use of the same widely available modules.. especially OSC/Filters/ and EFFECTS.

today I'd like to just say that I wish there were other reverb modules out there than the one (and you should know which one I'm talking about) that most people seem to just slap in their products. this reverb sounds very harsh and unnatural..

sure.. I can just disable it or turn the level to 0.. but thats not the point.. if you're going to work hard on creating a solid product then introduce a 3rd rate reverb.. well you've just killed the quality of the synth through and through. (IMO)

so please consider either a different algorithm or simply not including a reverb in the structure of your SE synths.. thank you.
