Greetings,
has anyone listened to NI's electronic instruments 2?
There is an essemble which comes along with it called Metaphysical Function and has presets from artists like Speedy J and others...
This is something that everyone should see! All presets are fully automatable pads and atmos, it's like music tracks made from artists and you get to mess with them! They sure can be listened to as really nice ambient tracks alone! Could this be the future of experimental music? Making presets? Actually if you de-activate all modulations you get a nice synth essemble but it's presets as they are,for me, it is art.

----I found Meta Function to be almost unusable as an "instrument",as a cool ambient generator sure, but what are ya gonna do,paste some electro-beats over it and call it NU-age muzak ?
----Maybe if there was an auto-tune module that you could wire into it so it'd stay halfway in tune while still doing it's cool ambient thing, then maybe it could be considered be a real "instrument" of some kind.
----On the other hand,Photone is great,if you can spare the cpu, that one is worth 1/3 to 1/2 the price of E.I. V2 itself.
