Cubase SL3 audio midown problems.

Has anyone else had problems using Audio Mixdown on Steinbergs Cubase SL3?
I have a 2 minute project with several copies of Kompak t + Kompakt for EWSOGE(East west, symphonic Library thingy), Drumatic, Mr Ray 2.1, OnePingOnly (:-o I know, I know!) and a few effects etc. It plays fine... though I have to freeze certain tracks... But when I try and mixdown it gets to about 19% and then the timer shoots up to 2hrs and it sits there... The processor is running at 2% usage, so it's not processing power, and the hard disk is not being thrashed... If I leave it, it will eventually complete the mixdown in around 3 hours times... but seems to crash at 99%.
If I turn realtime on it mixdown in just over 2 minutes... but then it seems to have problems in the first few seconds of the track with some of the Drumatic drums being out of time?
Has anyone else experienced similar problems? If so did they solve it?
Cheers
Ben

I havent had those problems - but it sounds supiciously like one of your vsts needs the real time bounce thing - try taking each vst out of the mix until you get the right one
i'd be pretty sure it will be one of the freeware ones
don't know why you are getting real time timing problems tho

I tried soloing different tracks and then mixing down..
it didn't seem to make any difference which track I soloed it still gets into this wierd state at 19% ?

i dont mean soloing
i meant removing from the arrangement
it's just some vsts buffer things in such a way as to not like full speed bouncing
so im guessing that your using one and real time is needed - if you work out which one it is you can do something about it

ahh.. found it!.. it was a beta bass compression / distortion plugin I was using!.. I've removed the offending VST from my system... and reverted back to camelphat..
