I had similar thoughts with CypherOne, but regarding modular stuff, FX chains etc I think that rack filters in Tracktion provide some functionality. However, I was wondering about live applications of eXT. Is it possible to use it like ABleton's Live session view to trigger predefined loops or midi parts using a laptop's keyboard or a midi keyboard? Does it have tap tempo (crucial to sync it with live playing musicians)?

not really - only tapping in another app (I bet there are many little utilities out there) and then changing eXT's tempo accordingly - but that's not realtime of coursezeoy wrote:Any workaround?jens wrote:

or you could of course load eXT in vst-mode into another sequencer which supports tapping and then eXT syncs automatically...
- but at least if you're working with audio-loops it should be the other way around anyway (it's no big deal to send a click from eXT to a drummer)

Yeah I know jens, but I prefer the machines slaved to humans than the other way around. Thanx anyway.jens wrote:(it's no big deal to send a click from eXT to a drummer)
