I am seriously considering making available the Widgets Sample Collection

– this is a collection of odd fx and real sounds in wave format – but I would like to know what the most popular sample rate is atm. I put a poll on the front page here http://audioshots.com anyone can vote – you don’t need to register to do so.

16 bit 48kHz!

Just like most of my GS2 libraries and Emu disks.

Actually, I voted for 16 and 24 bit 48khz.

44.1kHz in any case! Anything else stinks (unless you're using some lousy soundcard with hacked drivers).
16 or 24 bit.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

16 or 24 bit 44k are still the most popular and best allround formats.

32/192 :hihi:

maybe later

16/44 and 24/44 are clear winners - it looks like it will need to be both bit depths, unless one bit depth leads the field. the sample rate will be 44.1 for sure.

Thank you all :D
