Expansion ROM question

Hello. I remember reading quite some time ago on the website (at least a year ago) that for anyone who purchased Expansion ROMs would receive a free upgrade to the Sampletank 2 engine. Does this sound right? I purchased Symphony Strings and have since registered on the site. I don't show a link to a ST2 download when I log in. I tried using the SampleTank 2 free engine to play the samples but they won't work. Thanks.

The SampleTank 2 FREE engine won't work. That's meant only to play it's own set of freebie sounds that give you a taste of the full version which has hundreds and hundreds more (and is open to reading/importing as many as you want).elhefe23 wrote:Hello. There was for a brief time a thing where we were giving ST1 LE users who bought it at a certain time from eSoundz the opportunity to get the new LE ver.2 on us but that has elapsed. Now you can still easily get it just by purchasing any Expansion Tank or Sonik Capsule title (they come with SampleTank 2 LE... but SampleTank 2 LE is not sold on its own). Then you get some new sounds and you can load your Symphony Strings into it as well. For $15. you can have the new version 2 Symphony Strings disc as well to replace yours which has new patches using the new engines.
For more info on what your options are you can email: sales@esoundz.com

Squids,
I have Symphony Strings (with SampleTank LE for Mac OS 9). I think that's a great library! I've loved it and used it a lot till I upgraded to OS X.
I installed the demo version of SampleTank 2.0.5 for OS X. Just to check whether Sympony Strings is compatible with ST 2.0.5 I loaded the sounds but the filter and some other settings were messed up.
Is it not possible to use Symphony Strings library if I upgrade to ST 2 L or XL (for OS X)? That upgrade sounds nice since IK is giving Amplitube 1 free along with the upgrade.
Thank you.
