The only remaining FLStudio Problem - flp file not loading

Already stated this in tech support,
but I guess it might be faster to ask here:
I saved a flp file and opened it the next day
And it won't load ("not able to load, possibly corrupted and so on").
Still, I haven't changed anything to the file...
Anybody ever repaired a flp file?
Can somebody help me out here?

I've had this problem, too. It is heart breaking when a project you love and have spent hours on just stops working. I hope some one knows a way to fix corrupt .flp files.

I've only had this happen when I used one specific VST plugin. Jeskola XS1. The song simply freezes up but not on every song that uses this plugin, only some songs. If I remove the plugin from the VST folder, the song loads up fine, minus the Jeskola XS1

Did you try to load the flp in the FL Studio trash bin?

I've had this happen in .flp files without any VST's.
EDIT - I think my specific problem was .flp files that had been used by 2 seperate versions of FL.

go to FL5>trashbin and you will see the last save you made (a flp) often opening that fixes it, but if you have worked on something else and saved it won't work, it has no history...

Thats why I press CTRL + N every time I make a significant change on my project. Usually I end up with like 20 or so FLPs in the folder, but saves me the risk of corrupting hours and hours of work.
