Every two weeks, Aleksey blows my mind with something completely new and off the wall. And at the same time improving existing plugs.
There is no doubt in my mind that Voxengo is today what Waves was five years ago. Aleksey sets the bar in native plugin quality and innovation for all other developers.

Aleksey's new EQ imparts a more analog like reactance to the signal. It sounds more nurturing, more familiar somehow...a very nice quality.bmanic wrote:HarmoniEQ is much warmer than hydratone. It has completely different character. Which is kind of ironic as hydratone is based on analogue convolution samples.
The Hydratone EQ is a nice accomplishment. It is certainly a fine processor. But between these two, I quite favour Aleksey's EQ for it's luxurious character and texturing. With this EQ you are free to find something lovely in your signal and boost that loveliness to an even greater degree of flattery. This has always been the hallmark of nice analog designs, and now native system users can have something similar for hardly any dosh.
Form a line on the left, I say...

Maybe it´s just too obvious so that I don´t see it, but I´m more used to the button paradigm. Sure would like to learn this plugin though, but I can´t find any mention in the manual how you cut. Come on, I mean no harm.JeffSanders wrote:

Although this special eq is very useful in my ears, i'm sure Aleksey you will update this and include the possibility to set free points as one will have with free option to choose wheather the filter has to be a shelf or bell.
To set the bandwith with mouse-wheel is more comfortable as with push left and right mouse-button at the same time. I think o n l y right mouse button will do.
So, my 2 cents for version 1.1

Sorry a daft question, but I´m at work and I haven´t figured out from the screenshots how you´re supposed to CUT frequences with this eq. Anyone has a hint?

JonnySun, adding arbitrary filter selection is not in my plans for HarmoniEQ. Using right button only to control bandwidth is what I wanted to implement, but AFAIK, this won't work in Windows as it does not internally 'hook' the right button like it does with the left button (I may be wrong here, but this is what I've discovered - will try to find an alternative).

Sure thing. The HarmoniEQ UI is really simple. Drag a control point up to boost, down to cut, and left or right to change the frequency. Spin the mouse wheel to adjust the bandwith of a selected control point. Double-click a control point to reset it to 0dB. Super easy!klagga wrote:Thanks.
