Yeah, that's harsh dude. not that her performing isn't..but. lol. Still, if something like this even worked, it would give us all some faith in the record industry and show that we have a real say in it....which, by the looks of the current trends, we don't.
The general public will buy whatever EmptyVee (MTV) will tell them too...and that's just how it's gonna be for a while. hopefully the winds will change one day.
until then, here's to indy record companies and and stores!!! (knew i'd find something to drink to tonight. )

I feel quite sad that someone has taken the time to even create that petition.I get the impression it would be someone like the guy from the comic store in the Simpsons!!
While she may not be most peoples cup of tea she must have some fans? If I had 1% of the amount of fans she has I'd be a happy man. She gives hope to every unsigned artist/hobbyist out there, you can be shit and be involved in the music business.
Leave the gal alone.
p.s. Oh and, yes, I'd f*** her.
EDIT: Just saw it was made by 'Bethany Decker' whose probably size 28, single, angry at the world and in serious debt because all she does is watch shopping channels and eat takeaway pizza.
(If I have just described somebody's life I mean no offence! )

still though, i agree with 2windy in the fact that it's really a crappy thing to do. She didn't get signed because of her talent...she got signed because of her sister and autotune.

Out of curiosity, can anyone point me to a non-autotuned Ashee Simpson performance? I'm curious.
Edit: Nevermind, I found one. I was expecting laughably bad, but I've heard worse really. The only time I'd really notice if I weren't paying attention is during those loud, colorful parts.
