Bill's been doing music for a long time, on and off. His debut album 'The Transformed Man' (from the late 60's) is a true classic, and a Mystickal Concept Album to boot (it ends with Bill screaming about 'Touching... the face of God!!!!' even). I'm partial as well to his TV performance of Elton John's 'Rocket Man', the video of which is circulating on the net here and there.
