Any opinions on whether they are good to deal with, because their prices are really good.

I have purchased a few cameras from them and found them to be dependable and reliable. I hav enot purchased any audio stuff from them.

I've bought some audio stuff from BH (a mic, stand and some software). I havent had any problems with them at all. However, I live in NYC and purchased the stuff in person, and not through the mail, so I can't comment on that aspect of their service.

But their prices *are* really good.

Well, I too live in NY (close to NYC), but my experiences with them have been very good for audio stuff.

In general, their prices are not great, and they'll usually try to sell you a bunch of extra stuff. On the other hand, depending on what you're looking for and where you are located, they might be your only choice.

Thanks for the opinions. They have the best price on some audio software that I am purchasing, so I think I will go ahead and give them a shot...

I'm guessing you used Bizrate.com to shop price - I see their name all the time there. In fact, I have wondered the same thing as you - perhaps you can reply to this post regarding your buying experience.

I use bh photo all the time and have never been disappointed with their service. The only reservation is that their staff cannot tell you much about the product, since they do not specialize in music--but they are quite efficient, they are helpful otherwise in handling your order over the phone, and their prices are often great!!

They have good prices.
I usually purchase small price items from them.
For high price items I like SamAsh.com , not great prices but they give you 15 payments no interest.
You can't beat that.

Anyone buy from bh photo video?
